Great crew and Captain, put us on the fish while we could of limited out quick with a number of smaller fish that were biting often, the offered to move out to deeper water to try for bigger fish, rather than just limit us out as fast as possible and get back to the dock. Boat was clean and decked out well! Nothing better than being on the water for a sunrise start of the day and then great fishing. Recommend Waymaker if looking to book a trip for good tasting fish and fun time.

Highly recommend! This boat is great - roomy and comfy and clean. Capt Sean and first mate Rennie do a WONDERFUL job finding ALL the fish. We caught our limit and had a ton of fun with these friendly and knowledgeable pros. They even clean the fish at the end of trip.

I would 100% recommend Waymaker Fishing Charters. The conditions were choppy with 3 to 4 ft swells, but Sean had us on fish within 10 minutes of putting the first line in the water. With the help of first mate Rene, we had our 2-man limit within 4 hours. It was an amazing, affordable experience, and we had a great time fishing with Waymaker.

I booked this trip as a Father’s Day surprise for my husband, and we had such a great time. We caught our limit of Walleye and truly couldn’t have asked for a better day. Sean and Rene, the first mate, were fantastic. They didn’t make it feel like just a business trip. It felt more like being out on the lake with friends. They were patient, friendly, and happy to explain everything, including how the rigs worked. We honestly didn’t know what to expect, so limiting out was an awesome surprise. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to have a great time, catch fish, and feel like they’re fishing with friends.

Sean with Waymaker was absolutely wonderful to work with. My husband and I had an amazing experience from start to finish. He was incredibly patient with us and made sure we had a great time throughout the entire trip. We did not even make it out of the parking lot before we were already looking at dates to book another trip with him. Sean knew exactly where to take us and worked around the weather to give us the best experience possible. He also took the time to answer all of our questions, not just about fishing, but also about the boat, the equipment, and the fishing terms we were not familiar with. My son and I went out with them yesterday, and it was an amazing experience! The captain and crew were friendly, professional, and ensured we were comfortable, caught plenty of fish, and stayed safe on the lake in November. Highly recommend them, and the meat and cheese tray was a thoughtful touch. We’re already looking forward to a follow-up spring trip.

I went out with Sean on Waymaker Saturday morning to explore some new spots in Closer, and we definitely found them! In about 2 hours, we landed two limits, and we could barely keep three rods in the water most of the time. Sean could use more clients to experience these productive spots—give him a call for an awesome trip!

Sean is a great guy and an outstanding captain! He works hard, knows exactly where to find the fish, and always gives 100%. Captain Sean asked us to make shirts for his new charter business and also invited me and the boys to go out with him. We got out on the water this morning and had a fantastic time, quickly landing a 5-man limit. I highly recommend booking him for your next walleye charter! The Sean t-shirts will be ready soon.
